Welcome to jrcounselling.

As your counsellor I am committed to providing a safe and confidential counselling space for you to explore your concerns. Counselling is a very personal experience and means something different to everyone. Whatever your concerns I am here to help and to work collaboratively with you.

As your counsellor I have a broad range of therapeutic experience and carry a wealth of understanding of counselling issues. I am trained in Gestalt psychotherapy and have worked across several professional disciplines including nursing, community service work and counselling.

Some of the current issues people are seeking counselling for include: carer stress, dementia related issues, anxiety - particularly related to Covid19, historical abuses, grief and bereavement, adjusting and adapting to changes.

Different Therapies are used for different issues. Therapies I use that clients find helpful and empowering include:

How I deliver therapy

Short or long-term

Fee and appointment schedule

Initial assessment 1.15 hr $125 - I hr appointment $100 - 45 min appointment $75.

At your first appointment a confidentiality contract and intake form will be required and the fee paying structure will be discussed.

An initial ten minute phone call in response to your enquiry is free of charge to help you decide if I am the right counsellor for you. 

Face to face appointments are held at a local business centre.
